The diabolical collectivists are finding themselves a bit on their heels these days, as good people from around the United States are doing a better job than they’ve done for some time at finding their courage and channeling it into very public righteous indignation. Indeed, the passion of the people who are concerned about so-called health care reform is so strong that the meetings have borne witness to a disturbing trend of protesters suffering attacks by supporters of the Administration’s plan. Thugs in attendance at town hall meetings held recently in cities like Tampa and St. Louis (and who appear to be operating in no less a capacity than unofficial security at these events) have done a pretty good job intimidating and even physically assaulting those who disagree with that which the Administration would like to see rammed down our throats; how nice.
Because the violence against Americans who are simply exercising their rights as citizens in the Constitution has yet to be condemned by the Obama Administration, we have no choice but to conclude that it is, at least tacitly, sanctioned by the Administration. Let me say that again: By not condemning the assaults against citizens, the Obama Administration and Democrat Party leaders are, in essence, condoning it, which means encouraging it. How about THAT? Assaults against the citizenry by agents of the entities currently in control of the government; Tiananmen Square apparently now intersects at Main Street, USA.
The message is clear - if you forcefully disagree with the current leadership, you might pay with your physical well-being, maybe even your life. I’m reminded of the line from the classic film Billy Jack, wherein the title character says at one point, “When policemen break the law, then there isn’t any law; just a fight for survival.” A fight for survival, indeed.
White House deputy chief of staff Jim Messina recently informed senators during a meeting designed to help them present the Administration’s health care plan that “if you get hit, we’ll punch back twice as hard.” Who knew he was speaking of hitting and punching in literal terms? No problem, though; in fact, I’ll give collectivist Messina one free punch at me, as long as I get one at him in return; I’ll let him decide at that point who hits harder.
Obviously, the democratic process and path of high-minded civility is laughed off by the rapists of the electorate who sit on the thrones of power at present, so we must take our message to them as directly as possible. Within the limits allowed by law, exercise your rights to free expression and assembly, and while you should never physically assault, attack, or otherwise initiate lawless behavior against the collectivists, you have rights, both earthly and heavenly, to defend your life and that of your brother if either of you is attacked at one of these “town halls.” On that note, should you attend a town hall or other similar forum during this current climate, keep a video camera handy for evidentiary purposes; nowadays, practically every cell phone doubles as one, anyway.
That we have to even be speaking in these terms should let you know how wrong the last election was, and how we have to be sure that those who support the party line are thrown out of office in the elections to come. When you’re paralyzed with frustration and wondering how to end this mess once and for all, remember that the power wielded by the voter remains the surest answer; suffer through the next two years (by no means silently, however), and let that accumulated pain serve as the catalyst that gets you off of your duff and down to the voting booth to do what needs to be done. In the end, it is revolution…revolution at the ballot box…that will ultimately do the most good. Make it happen, before these “enemies from within” successfully find a way to circumvent that process, as well.
